GP Salads are proud to be members of the Fresh Produce Consortium. This essential for some the clients which we supply. The FPC is the UK's fresh produce trade association.  

Widely recognised as the voice of the UK industry, the FPC plays a unique and crucial role in creating opportunities, defending livelihoods and supporting the growth of its members' businesses from picking and packing to retailer and restaurant.

The SALSA standard was written by experienced food safety experts to reflect both the legal requirements of producers and the enhanced expectations of 'best practice' of professional food buyers.

Approval certification is only granted to suppliers who are able to demonstrate to a SALSA auditor that they are able to produce and supply safe and legal food, and are committed to continually meeting the requirements of the SALSA standard.
